Terms and Conditions
Because of the nature of the repairs, engineers often need to move the appliance to gain access to faulty parts. We advise our customers that light damage to carpet or other flooring is possible during the service visit. If the customer refuses to take responsibility for such damage that may occur, Dasfix may not undertake the repair, unless the customer removes/relocates the appliance themselves. Dasfix will not take responsibility for and no claims can be made against the company with regards to such damage, once the customer has agreed on the above. Please rest assured that our engineers will do their best to prevent any damage to your property.
Any damages which may occur during the repair process must be reported before the relevant invoice has been signed by the customer. Dasfix will not accept responsibility for any damages reported afterwards.
All equipment repaired by Dasfix will include a six month parts and labour warranty unless stated otherwise. This warranty covers the work carried out and parts replaced to cure the original reported fault. This does not cover any new faults that occur within the six months warranty period.
Please note the guarantee does NOT include door handles, hinges, frames and blockages.
Please note should the customer provide their own parts, if they are not the correct items or do not cure the reported fault the £55 charge will still apply. If this occurs we are more than happy to diagnose the problem and quote you for the repair
BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATION FEES
Appointments are always booked on three-hour-slot basis within which time Dasfix engineer will visit at the address provided. In the rare cases of an engineer being delayed, Dasfix will notify the customer and rearrange the visit, if necessary.
Any failure by the customer to attend an appointment without prior cancellation (more than 1 hour in advance) or rearrangement of the visit will result in a cancellation fee of £30.
In the case of the reported appliance working at the time of the visit and the engineer not identifying a fault, a cancellation fee of £30 is payable to cover the engineer.
TERMS OF ORDERING PARTS
Once parts have been ordered they cannot be cancelled or refunded and will have to be paid for in full.
